As the Office Manager at Carroll Retirement Plans & Investments, Melissa Schultz is not only the front line person for making sure customers are well taken care of, but she also brings a personal aspect to the business that customers can really enjoy. It is this personalized service that brings comfort & ease to those walking through the process of planning for their future with Carroll Retirement. Schultz is a liaison in this planning and vows to be there for their customers every step of the way - making the process as easy as possible.

Schultz came to Carroll Retirement Plans & investments from the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce - where Schultz served as the Program Director and was focused on providing quality programs and information to the members on a daily basis. While planning and providing programs such as Rise Up! Cadillac, Business After Five, the Lecture Luncheon Series and our Annual Governors Breakfast, she attributes the bulk of her success there to a focus on communication, creating business relationships & being familiar with the many businesses & industries in the area and what they have to offer Melissa volunteers and is very active in the Cadillac community.
Currently she is Co-Chair of the Lakeview Lutheran Manor Advisory Board, a CASA Board Member, a Mercy Giving Panel member, a past board member for the Cadillac Free Health Clinic, a previous DCA Board Member and has sat on numerous committees for various organizations such as the United Way.
Melissa and her husband Curtis moved to Cadillac, Michigan from Stuart, Florida in 1998. They purchased Kodiak’s Coffeehouse and Deli and currently her husband is still the owner operator while Melissa pursues her new career. They have a son named Chase who they enjoy spending time with on the lake, golf course, ball field, ski slope or participating in any outdoor activity. They have made Northern Michigan their home and truly enjoy all 4 seasons.
